"These names are new and are not part of the list of injured victims announced earlier," Chief Organizer of Indonesian Hajj Pilgrims (PPIH) for Mecca Desk (Daker), Arsyad Hidayat, noted here, on Monday.

Earlier, it was reported that two Indonesians were killed in the accident, but after a verification process, five more Indonesian pilgrims were found dead on Sunday.

According to latest information, three more bodies were found in a Saudi hospital after they were reported missing since the accident.

Currently, 23 Indonesian pilgrims are still being treated in Saudi hospitals, and 18 others have recovered.

On September 11, a storm rocked the city and caused a crane to collapse that caved in parts of Masjidil Haram mosque, the world's largest, which was packed with pilgrims when the incident occurred.

In the meantime, Saudi authorities noted on Saturday that Islam's annual Hajj pilgrimage would not be affected by Friday's crane collapse that killed 107 and injured 238 pilgrims at Mecca's Grand Mosque, local news channel Al Arabiya reported.

Prince Khalid Al Faisal, the Mecca governor, and head of the central Hajj committee have ordered renovations of all areas, which were damaged during the deadly incident, the report stated.

According to the report, the crane collapsed during on-going expansion operations at the Grand Mosque aimed at accommodating the ever-increasing number of pilgrims from across the world.

An investigative committee has "immediately and urgently" begun investigating the cause of the collapse, the official Saudi Press Agency said.

It noted that more than 909 thousand pilgrims had arrived in Mecca for this year's Hajj, which is expected to start on September 21. (masdar)
