Kedungpring's NU medical center continues to improve its heath services

As part of its efforts to address the needs of community in regard with the quality of health care services, the Kedungpring's chapter of NU, Lamongan, after much hard work, has been determined to constantly improve its medical center (BP NU) on such a scale.
Chairman of the Kedungpring's chapter of NU, Drs Khamim Baidlowie MM, said amid the most difficult circumstances and without putting aside the importance of high-quality health services, BP NU would always give its best services to the people by providing any operational support or equipm<>ent.
On the sidelines of a meeting to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) recently, the education practitioner reiterated that in addition to defending and preserving the Islamic teachings of Ahlussunnah wal Jamaah, "NU is also established to make the ummat live in prosperity in various fields such as education, social, economy, health and so on."
In the meantime Khamim also expected the BP NU to be capable of giving its best health services and accessible especially to poor people.
At the same time, one of the board members of the BP NU, Drs. H. Moch Achyar, SH, M.Pd, said that the BP NU should professionally be managed and expectedly equipped with various supporting facilities.
While organizing committee secretary, Drs. Imam Sujono said the Kedungpring's BP NU had now provided such services as the Emergency Service Unit (ESU) which is ready to serve patients 24 hours a day.
"At present, by involving some medical experts like experienced doctors and nurses, the BP NU has provided such services as travel insurance, one day care with VIP room facilities, ambulance which is ready to give escort services and a 24-hour pharmacy," Imam said.
"In addition, the medical center has also given such other services as general polyclinic, mother and child health center (BKIA), minor surgery and so on," he added.
Present also at the occasion were chairman of the Lamongan's NU Branch Board (PCNU) KH Abdullah Ma'un, KH Imam Syaerozi, scores of board members of the Kedungpring's chapter of NU along with its institutions and autonomous bodies, board members of NU in villages and local figures. (dar)
