Bombs warnings from 'old players': Expert

Jakarta, NU Online Three similar bombs discovered almost simultaneously in three different places in Jakarta were distributed by existing terrorist groups to signal that they still existed despite the trial of firebrand cleric Abu Bakar Ba’asyir, an analyst said on Wednesday. “Existing terrorist groups have primary targets. On the list are liberal Islam activists, Christian activists and Jews. The three bombs targeted figures representing each of those groups,” said Mardigu Wowiek Prasantyo, a terrorism analyst from the University of Indonesia.
