Hasyim calls on world religious figures to fight against poverty

New York, NU Online President of the World Conference of Religions for Peace (WCRP) KH Hasyim Muzadi called on world's religious figures to take a stand against issues dealing with poverty. The General Chairman of the Central Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) made the statement while presenting his paper entitled Role of Religion in Advancing the Legal Empowerment of the Poor at the Global Consultation Forum at the WCRP's headquarters, New York on Thursday (7/2).
