There were two ways for someone to be a priest. The first requirement was rabulallah, glorify Allah. Then, the second was tsummas taqaamu, being consistent.
The explanation was said by the advisor of Nahdlatul Ulama KH Mustofa Bisri at the public islamic teaching at the memorial of death of (haul) Mbah Muhammad Arif that held at Muhammad Arif mosque, Sendang Saru, Banjarsari village, Bangsri district, Jepara regency on Wednesday (9/12) afternoon.
The next requirement that told by Gus Mus, was wala takhafu wala tahzanu. “Don’t be afraid and don’t be worried,” he stressed in front of hundreds worshipers who packed the recitation site.
“When someone worried while dollar exchange rate increased, he or she is not a saint,” joked Gus Mus that greeted by the audience.
An example for another fear and worried was revealed by him in this political year as recently. “Politicians are getting worse. Political years, How come it is like this,” he said.
Because of this condition, the chairman of Raudhatut Thalibin islamic boarding school, Leteh, Rembang often was invited by polices to give religious lecture. A religious leader who 74 olds was also affirmed wherever we have to solemn.
‘In Bangsri, Semarang, Jakarta, or Singapore, we have to solemn. At mosque, there is God; at market, there is God as well, not profit,” he explained, greeted laughter by the audience.
The islamic teaching was enlived by rebaca musical group Esthi Bakti Warapsari which its members consist of women polices. Gus Mus affirmed that Mbah Arif was a priest.
In this occasion, he invited the audience in order not to ignore groups who heresy prophet birthday, memorial of ulema death, or others NU traditions.
