Jakarta, NU Online
The General Chairman of Nahdlatul Ulama KH Said Aqil Siroj said that hashtag movement of #2019GantiPresiden or 2019PresidentChange could be categorized as rebellion if it not followed the constitution or rule corridor.

The constitution corridor, according to Kiai Said, was obedience of the movement to the democratic system through general election according to schedule that has been determined by government  by means of president election that would be held on April 2019.

“If (the movement) just hashtag, it is oke. But if there are mass mobilizations, and try to change president on January, February, or March (our side of president election schedule), that is a rebellion,” Kia Said told NU Online in PBNU building, on Thrusday (9/6).

When he was asked, is it important to limit  the movement, Kiai Said returned the problem to the government and  authorithies. “Regarding the permission or prohibition, depend on police. Whatever the reason, if it disturbed  peace or cause noise, should be prohibited,” he explained.

As is known, hashtag #2019GantiPresident rise pros and con in the public. A number of declarations in the some regions caused controversy.

Head of the Indonesian Language and Literature Educational Department, Islamic State University (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Makyun Subuki said, the movement has great potency to create conflict in the community because the movement abuse mass sentiment to joint the action with some its leaders while making a speeches till the declaration. “Because the sosmed influence is so powerful, the riot potecy is high,” ke explained.

Therefore, he appealed to Bawaslu (election supervisory agency) to prohibit the hashtag to avoid social impact that accured. “KPU (election commision) and Bawaslu should use fiqh rules, ‘dar’ul mafasidi muqaddamun ‘ala jalbil mashalih (avoiding damages must take precedence than produce benefits,” affirmed Subuki who was alumnus of Ash-Shiddiqiyah islamic boarding school, west Jakarta.
