The earthquake that happened in west Nusa Tenggara has effected Sumbawa island as well.  Hundreds houses was badly damage. There were also many people death. 

One of the death victim was Amri’s wive, the secretary of Ansor west Sumbawa. As a sympathy, chairman of Ansor NTB H Zamroni went to Sumbawa and gave support direcly, on Saturday (8/25). Accompanied by Banser, he met Amri who was lost his beloved wive caused by 7.0 SR earthquake recenlty. Ansor gave sacrificial animals to the people who affected by earthquake in Sumbawa as well. He also gave support to the branch leaders 

Previously, Ansor NTB has sent some people needs in the refugee areas and gave donations to a number of worship place such as mosques, temples, monasteries. Every place received 10 millions.

“We are Ansor NTB has handed over cash donation to twenty worship places, each worth 10 millions,” he said.  

Besides that, he continued, Ansor NTB has built an earthquake care post to distribute 1000 Supermies, 700 bottled waters, sanitary napkins, rice, and other basic needs. “We also distributed aid to the people who hasn’t been touched,” said Amri who is also head of public relation in the ministry of religious affair, NTB province.

He expected the people to keep calm and not easy to be provoked by irresponsible issues. (Hadi/Muiz)
