NU committed to contributing to the nation, says NU senior figure

Jakarta, NU Online As the Indonesia's largest Muslim organization, Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) will always base its all teachings on what so-called as Ahlussunnah wal Jamaah (Aswaja). NU will also continuously promote moderate attitudes in dealing with radicalism and any possible threat posed by extreme Islamic groups. Secretary general of lawmaking body of the Central Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) KH Malik Madani made the remarks on the sidelines of a religious "halal bihalal" gathering here on Friday, saying NU would be committed to contributing to the nation.
