The United Development Party (PPP) says that the reshuffle rumor is part of Democratic Party maneuvers to win more seats at the cabinet.
"We have not heard any reshuffle," Romahurmuziy, PPP deputy secretary, said as quoted by Antara news agency as saying on Tuesday.&l<>t;br />
He said he was optimistic that President Yudhoyono would not reshuffle his cabinet in the first year of his administration as it would cause a political instability.
"The Bank Century gate has rocked the government, so I don't think the President wants another problem," he added.
Dems supervisory board member Ahmad Mubarok earlier said Yudhoyono would replace some of his ministers in 2010 based on an experience in Yudhoyono's first tenure from 2004. (jp/dar)
