Kang Said leads tahlil, marking Pesantren Lulur Al-Tsaqofah

General Chairman of the Central Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) KH Said Aqil Siroj (Kang Said) Sunday led the recitations of tahlil and istighotsah (collective prayers) on the sidelines of a religious gathering to inaugurate the Pesantren Luhur Al-Tsaqofah located on Jln. M-Kahfi 1 no 22, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta.<>
While a number of administrative officers and santri of the newly established pesantren sit cross-legged on the stage with Kang Said. The tahlil and istighotsah recitations were followed by at least 200 people. While the prayers were led by the Secretary of Supreme Council of NU KH Mustafa Aqil Siroj.
The pesantren stands on an area of ​​8000 meters and was establihsed in the name of Said Aqil Siroj Foundation.
"Both tahlil and istighotsah are expectedly intended as gates for the blessing of the pesantren in the future," one of the leaders of Pesantren Luhur Al-tsaqofah M Idris Mas'ud said here on Sunday (28/7).
After the tahlil and istigotsah recitations, the attendees were entertained with Saman dance performed by the pesantren students..
The tahlil and istigotsah recitaons were then closed with iftar (breaking the fast) and Maghrib and tarawih prayers in congregation.
