Kiai Masdar : Never let NU mosques be 'hijacked'

Chairman of lawmaking council (Rais Syuriyah) of NU KH Masdar F. Masudi said "hijacking a mosque is evil and let the mosque be hijacked is stupid."<>
In the principle of Islamic jusrisprudence, there is so-called La dlarar wa la dlirar, do not harm others and do not commit to harm who harmed you.
"Nahdliyin are pleased to choose, being criminals or fools?" said Kiai Masdar before some 200 participants of the Regional Meeting of The Nahdlatul Ulama Institute for Mosque Management (LTMNU) of Situbondo held at the office of Situbondo's NU Branch Board on Saturday (23/2).
According to Kiai Masdar who was born in Purwokerto 1953, both are not an option. Nahdliyin must defend the mosque for being the place of ummah in addition to being the place which 'differentiates' Nahhdliyin from others.
