President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is slated to attend the 78th anniversary of the Ansor Youth Movement (GP Ansor), a youth wing of the country's largest Muslim organization Nahdhatul Ulama (NU) on Monday.<>
GP Ansor Chief organizer Gus Yaqut Colil Comas said here on Friday that the celebration of the organization's anniversary would also be attended by a number of foreign dignitaries.
The president himself will be accompanied by 10 ministers.
He said that the anniversary would carry a theme:
"Strengthening Plurality and Fighting Poverty," and would be attended by about 40,000 Banser (Ansor Front organization) members.
Gus Yaqut said the anniversary celebrations would last July 13 to July 18, 2012. Stands for exhibiting products and exchanging information would also be set up, particularly products relating to micro 'Syariah' financial system and other financial industry types.
