Candidates must propagate Aswaja teachings

Makassar, NU Online Participants (muktamirin) of the NU 32nd congress considered the importance of picking up general chairman candidates whose broad understanding about what so-called as Ahlussunnah wal Jamaah (Aswaja). Chairman of the advisory body (Rais Syuriyah) of the Central Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) KH Hafidz Usman made the remarks at a press conference here Wednesday, adding that there would be no place for those having liberal line of thoughts to participate in the general chairman elections.
