90% of LP Ma’arif NU’s Students Pass in this Year’s Exam

As many as 90% of madrasah students supervised by Nahdlatul Ulama Educational Institution of Ma’arif (LP Ma’arif NU), passed in the recent national examination (UN).
“Based on the report from regions, passing grade of national examination of schools (madrasah) supervised by Ma’arif reached by 90%,” General Chairman of the Central Board of LP Ma’arif NU, Nadjid Muchtar told reporters in his office on Jln. Taman Amir Hamzah, Matraman Timur Jakarta, Thursday (29/6).
Nadjid, accompanied by prominent men of PP LP Ma’arif NU such as Mamad Salamet and Aceng Abdul Aziz, suggested the data revealed that the total of students who did not pass this year’s exam has remained in large numbers.
Najid said, as a NU educational institution, LP Ma’arif NU is now seeking a solution to handle the students who didi not pass the recent exam that amounted to 10 percents. LP Ma’arif still insists the government to conduct the repetition of the exam.
“Now we are thinking on how to handle those who did not pass the exam. We are still in initial decision, that is the government should conduct the repetition of UN,” Nadjid said. (rif)
