Adyaksa Dault: Good Organization, Good Forming of Cadres

State Minister for Youth and Sports Affairs Adhyaksa Dault agreed with what expressed by General Chairman of the Central Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) KH Hasyim Muzadi who expected Nahdlatul Ulama Students Association (IPNU) and Girl Students Association (IPPNU) to be cadre organization.

According to the former of General Chairman of National Committee for Indonesian Youth (KNPI), a good organization could be seen from its forming process of cadres. “Organization is  considered good, its forming of cadres is also well-organized. If its input is well, its output is absolutely well,” said Minister.

The statement was said by Adhyaksa Dault after attending opening ceremony of IPNU Congress XV and IPPNU’s XIV, that were held jointly in the Asrama Haji Pondok Gede, Bekasi, Monday (10/7).

Present at the occasion a member of Faction of National Awakening House of Representatives (DPR RI) Khofifah Idar Parawansa, General Chairman of Islamic Preaching Institution of Nahdlatul Ulama (LDNU), KH Nuril Huda and seniors of both IPNU and IPPNU. 

The Minister said that there were two trends if the forming process of cadres of an organization neglected, they were unclear mass and unable to survive. “If its cadres are neglected, there will be floating mass, unclear and unable to survive,” he said.

The Minister also expected both NU students organizations to develop rightly and universally Islamic thought. “I hope IPNU and IPPNU can evolve universal Islamic thought, that can be addressed by all sects (firkoh). (rif)
