Department of Heath RI (Depkes) will realize the establishment of 100 health post units of Islamic Boarding “Pesantren” School (Poskestren) throughout Indonesia with the estimated budget amounted to Rp 5-7 billion.
“If the budget approved this year, we will realize the establishment of the Poskestren, if not, perhaps next year,” said Heath Minister Siti Fadilah Supari after dedicating a Lirboyo’s Pesantren hospital, Kediri, East Java, Friday (14/7).
Fadilah said, East Java had such a priority to establish Poskestren for many mushrooming pesantrens in the province. To realize the program, she expected the pesantren’s men to provide a location for health post.
“The Department of Health will next fulfill it health equipments and supply of medicines,” Fadilah said.
Fadilah also said that the budget proposed to the government amounted to Rp 5-7 billion. This aid would be distributed to fulfill health equipments and medicines. Her coming to the Pesantren was accompanied by State Minister for the Accelerated Development of Disadvantages Regions Saifullah Yusuf.
The Lisboyo Health Post has actually been operating since two years ago. Previously, it had been used to host the second national (yellow) book recitation competition. (ant/mkf)
