Kiai Ghozali: There would be continuing developments

General Chairman of Nahdlatul Ulama Committee of Astrology (LF NU) KH Ghozalie Masroeri said on Monday (18/12) that there would be such continuing developments dealt with the science of hisab especially in seeing moon.
He explained that there was no one of “yellow books” to be considered as authoritative sources enable to address man’s demand forever and ever.
“I do believe that shohibu Sulamun Nayyiroin (the author of Sulamun Nayyiroin) would not expect his works to be studied till doomsday,” Kiai Ghozalie said.
At least there was a NU prominent man having written and published a number of works in terms of the science of hisab, namely Nurul Anwar written by Kiai Nur Ahmad.
There were also experts of the discipline such as Dr Hafidz whose a method called as Mawakih being used anywhere and even regarded as a scholarly work of an Indonesia’s intellectual, Irsyadul Murid written by Ahmad Ghozali, and Hisab and Rukyat in both theory and practice written by Muhyiddin.
