The effort of increasing educational quality within NU educational institutions would always be focused on. In this case, the educational institution (LP) of Maarif NU would cooperate with French government.
Vice Chairwoman of LP Maarif NU Dr. Sri Mulyati explained she had met with Dr. Dubois and Dr. Dominique Robert from Indonesia's French Embassy.<>
The lecturer at the Jakarta's Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University said that some programs including Islamic studies were in OK.
"For considering the number of private high institutions, next the French Embassy would develop cooperation on education that is focused on private educational institutions having tertiary education institutions," she said.
The programs set up by the French Embassy in 2008 are seminar, workshop, student and lecturer exchange studying religion, human and natural sciences.
"For NU's tertiary education institutions what is likely necessary to plan is cooperation on increasing lecturers quality," she added. (mkf)
