Vice Chairman of the Indonesia's largest Muslim organization Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) H Sa'id Ali As'ad was awarded the the degree of Doctor Honoris Causa (HC) by the Semarang's University of Diponegoro (Undip).
Meanwhile, the open Meeting of the Senate in regard with the degree conferment ceremony will be held at the of Prof. Soedarto Building, Undip on Saturday (11/2).
The meeting began with a speech delivered by the promoter Prof. Dr. Arief Hidayat, SH, M. Hum, and then followed by the reading of the Rector Decision Letter / Chairman of the Senate Prof. Dr. Ir. Sunarso.
At the occasion, Dr. As'ad Said writing the "State of Pancasila" would deliver a speech titled "Judicial Review of Law as a Means of Ideology and the National Security." (nam)
