Siradj said the bullets used by the the police to shoot Riyadhus Sholihin, member of Ansor Youth Movement, were purchased with people's money. The bullets; Siradj warned, should not be used inappropriately.
He said that based on the police investigations, the shooting began short after a hit and run driver Riyadhus Sholihin, adding the police should not shoot dead him though in this case he was found guilty.
"The hit and run accident is true, but he (Riyadhus Sholihin) who was allegedly accused of carrying a sickle is not true. Moreover, there were somesaying he was drunk, it's sbsolutely not true," Siradj quoted police chief of East Java as saying.
