PBNU to invite East Java NU dealt with the difference of rukyat

The Central Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) would immediately conduct a meeting with East Java Regional Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (PWNU) to discuss about the last difference in determining the beginning of Shawal 1427 H. The meeting would reportedly take place at the NU office located on Jalan Kramat Raya 164 Jakarta on Tuesday (7/11) night.
On the occasion of the halal bihalal between NU Supreme/executive Council scores and numbers of NU organization apparatus consisting of NU constitutions and autonomous bodies on Monday (6/7), the General Chairman of NU KH Hasyim Muzadi said East Java’s NU would convey reasons respecting this year’s difference in determining the beginning of Shawal.
<>East Java’s NU figures that would be invited are namely Chairman of East Java NU Supreme Council KH Masduki Mahfudz, Chairman of East Java’s NU Executive Council KH Ali Maschan Moesa, and numbers of related clerics involved in the last rukyat such as KH Sholeh Hayat, KH Muslih, and KH Miftahul Ahyar.“Next, the East Java NU will be pleased to deliver its reasons. Then, representatives of NU Committee of Astrology (LFNU) will respond. This problem should be soon resolved,” Hasyim said.
The leader of Al Hikam Islamic Boarding School of Malang expected the LFNU to immediately carry out such as a training for those would be involved in the rukyat within NU milieu. “At least the education and training is conducted before the month of Dzulhijjah.” (nam)
