In making NU students successful to enter the business world, the Faculty of Economics (FE), especially Management Program of the Sidoarjo's Nahdlatul Ulama University (UNU) held a seminar on the Success to be Businessman. The seminar held at the headquarters of Maarif NU Sidoarjo, was attended by some 100 students.
Speaking at the seminar was the national motivator Lestyo Gunawan, calling for the importance of students to focus themselves on how to take brilliant steps in running enterprises.
Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics Zulifah Chikmawati said that the aim of the event was to change the mindset of students to face business competition.
She addded that successful students were those who not only received knowledge from lecturers, but received information from a variety sources outside of class hours.
"If you want to be successful, you need to dig a lot of information not only from the faculty," Mrs. Zulifah said, adding that in the era of competition, such activities as seminar and workshop are extremely important to broaden students before they enter the business world. (Moh Kholidun / Masdar)
