NU will be powerless without maintaining its spirit of struggle

Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) would be powerless without maintaining the spirit of struggle of the Nahdliyin (NU followers) especially in dealing with conducting its (religious social) programs and activities.
The leader of Al Falah modern Islamic boarding school (pesantren), Jatirokeh Songgom Brebes Central Java KH Moh. Nasrudin made the remarks as addressing a Halal bi Halal meeting at the Assyifa Entertainment in Limbangan village Losari subdistrict Brebes regency over the weekend.<>
"In the past, to hold a religious gathering of NU (for instance), (NU)'s women would spontaneously bring packaged food, Nasrudin said.
In the meeting held by local Ansor and NU students association, Nasrudin explained that the values of the spirit could be powerless if the Nahdliyin-based organization was "trapped" into politics. (was)
