The Supreme Council of the Central Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) KH Muchit "Mbah Muchit" Muzadi has been under treatment for days at Surabaya's Islamic Hospital.
The influential figure of the Indonesia's biggest Muslim organization has now been brought home from the hospital by his younger brother KH Hasyim Muzadi in Malang, East Java.<>
On 7th May, Mbah Muchit brought his beloved wife to Surabaya's Dr. Sutomo Hospital for undergoing cataract surgery. He had patiently accompanied his ailing wife before and after undergoing the surgery.
His wife was then brought again to Surabaya's Islamic Hospital to have medical treatment. Following his coming to the hospital, he was also under medical treatment for being tired.
One of his daughters, Inayah Sya'roni said here on Monday (26/5) that Mbah Muchit had been given four intravenous feedings following their conversation by phone.
According to Inayah, Mbah Muchit had three times been hospitalized in the hospital in the last several years.
Inayah said she was very happy for her father had now been brought home from hospital and lived in his brother's residence in Malang East Java. (ary)
