Nahdlatul Ulama Special Branch Boards (PCINU) in some countries will hold a meeting on the sidelines of the 3rd International Conference of Islamic Scholars (ICIS) in coming days.
Muhammad Shohid Rifa'i, the member of Sudan's PCINU said that all the PCINU delegates that attend the ICIS would discuss any issues, chances, and challenges being expectedly able to contribute to NU.<>
"We plan to hold a meeting for PCINU (members) that attend (the conference) to take up any issues, chances, and challenges that may be such positive feedbacks for NU," he told NU Online here on Sunday (27/7).
As representative from Sudan's NU, Rifa'i expected the Central Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) to appoint a chairman whose capability of dealing with problems faced by the PCINU.
The Gresik-born man was of view that so far there had remained difficulties in building communication between the PBNU and PCINU. (mkf)
