Thousands throng Kalla's home in Makassar to celebrate Idul Fitri

Vice President Jusuf Kalla opened his house in Makassar on Sunday for local residents to celebrate Idul Fitri with him.
Thousands of local people have lined up before the open house began at 9 a.m. as they wanted to shake hands with the vice president, Antara news agency reported.<>
Kalla's family donated food, drink, and Rp 20,000 ($2) to every visitor during the open house.
Kalla celebrated Idul Fitri that fell on Sept. 20 and 21 in Jakarta and returned to his hometown of Makassar on Sept. 26. (dar)
