The Second International Conference of Islamic Scholars (ICIS II) will be opened in coming two days. Participants from outside and inside the country have arrived in Jakarta.
Chief of the organizing committe M Rozy Munir told NU Online that he himself was really happy for the enthusiasm of the participants.
<>"It makes me happy for the participants have arrived in Jakarta and even some of them have been in advanced,“ said Rozy.
The participants having been in Jakarta are namely Dr Salie Abrahams (South Africa), Mrs Salie Aalie Abrahams (South Africa), Hamood Ali Naser Al Saidi (Yaman), Shakir Shaikh (canada), Isa Ben Yousef Al Bousaidi (Oman), Muhammad Khalid Masud (Pakistan), Dr Ata Ur Rehman (Pakistan), Prof Dr Anis Ahmad (Pakistan), Dr Smati Mahfud (Aljazair), Prof El Mamoun El Kacimi El Hasani (Aljazair).
Rozy said that since last Saturday the committees were bussy to pick up the participants in Sukarno-Hatta Airport. „We will pick up the participants arriving at airport as our deep respect to them. We do not want they lost in the city“ Rozy said. (rif)
