Nadirsyah Hosen explains misunderstood khilafah as solution

The author of Islam Yes, Khilafah No: Dktrin dan Sejarah Politik Islam dari Khulafa ar-Rasyidin hingga Umayyah (Islam Yes, Islamic State No: Doctrine and History of Islamic Politics from Khulafa ar-Rashidin to Umayyah), Nadirsyah Hosen explained that the children of ex-HTI members often echoed the caliphate as a solution, Including relating it to the drop in the rupiah.

4. There was a report that his mother was reluctant to give 50 thousand dinars from the corruption. The failure of al-Mu'tazz fulfilling the military request was fatal of course. This made all military factions (Turkey, Faraghinah and Magharibah) unite and agree to get rid of the bankrupt Caliph.

5. Then the troops stormed in and dragged the Caliph al-Mu'tazz out of the palace. While they beat the Caliph who was then around 24 years old. The Khaliph's shirt was torn here and there and blood was visible on his shirt. The Caliph was dried in the sun. Tragic!

6. Al-Mu'tazz was then forced to write his resignation letter. He could not write it. Then the letter was written and he was forced to sign it. After that he was put in the room without being fed and drinking for three days. Finally al-Mu'tazz died

7. This is the tragic fate of the Abbasid caliphs: the 18th Caliph al-Muqtadir (beheaded), the 19th Caliph al-Qahir (gouged out), the 20th Caliph ar-Radhi (died for being sick), the 21st Caliph al-Muttaqi (gouged out), the 22nd Caliph al-Mustakfi (pried his eyes)

8. This is a sad fact that occurred in the time of the Caliphate. So, that is the fact. In a long period of time there were times when the Chaliphate could bring prosperity like in the days of Harun ar-Rasyid but there was also a period where poverty and poverty hit the caliphate.

9. The problem is that the former HTI members hide the facts of the crisis and bankruptcy experienced by the old age caliphate, then attack democracy and the Indonesian government as if the caliphate was the only solution for the plummeting Rupiah. The old age Chaliphate used to be even worse.

10. The mode of ex-HTI members: attacking current conditions through a story of past glories. When shown the facts of history that the Khilafah was previously problematic, they failed, so history could not be a source of law. Then, why did you first quote past history?
