National Kirab of Ansor will be enlivened by communities and mass organizations

The grand agenda of “White and red flag kirab” that will be started on Sunday, September 16, 2018 from five outermost points not only will be enlivened by Ansor members but also followed by others groups and organizations. The kirab will be finished in Yogyakarta, on October 26.
Abdul Rochman, secretary general of GP Ansor, said besides it would be followed by one millions cadres of Ansor from all over Indonesia, One Nation Kirab would involve public, national and local figures, and interfaith or cultures communities.
“The communities that involve from starting at five the outermost points to finishing reached one thousands while mass organization that involve around hundreds,” said Abdul Rochman through written information, on Monday (9/9).
Along the way from departure point to Yogyakarta, kirab would be filled with several interesting activities such as raising the longest white and red flag, cleaning beaches, include sewing a flag long sized 1945 metres. The outermost points are outer islands of Indonesia, namely Sabang, Nunukan, Miangas island, Rote island, and Merauke.
“Also declaring Guru Sepuh as national hero, trace the struggle of the heroes and ulemas, conducting various national dialogues, carrying out social services, holding competitions, several art performances to unique actions feeding street cats,” said Adung.
Before the peak event, Ansor will hold international level class titled “Global Unity Forum II” that would present several religious and peace figures from home and abroad on October 25-26.
“At that moment, GP Ansor want to inspire the world about the legacy of Indonesian civilization wisdom in the community and nation life that is plural, but always in peace because guided by religious spirit,” said Adung.
The kirab will finish in Yogyakarta through peak event of national assemble on October 26 followed by 100 hundred thousand Banser members. President Jokowi has been planned to attend the event. (Ahmad Rozali)
