Vocational High School (SMK) Ma'arif 2 Gombong (Madugo) was established in 1994 by Decree No. 525/1.03/I/1994 on 5 September 1994. The school managed by the Kebumen Educational Institution of Ma'arif NU is located on Jl. Kemukus No. 96 B Gombong, Kebumen, Central Java.<>
The pride of Nahdliyin achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification in 2013. That means, the SMK Madugo was considered to meet international standards in the field of quality management system.
SMK Madugo principal Ngadino said that with the ISO certification, quality management in all business units in the outstanding school had met the standards of customer satisfaction.
"Management Standard of ISO 9001:2008, is a guarantee for the world of work. SMK Madugo management has been recognized by the international community," said Ngadingo who is also the official of LP Ma'arif NU of Central Java by phone.
He said, SMK Madugo was committed to producing reliable and professional graduates who will always hold the Ahlussunnah Waljama'ah (Aswaja) teachings, adding the commitment was an implementation of the school's vision in preparing students who gain achievements based on faith and piety.
The mission of SMK Madugo is to prepare the studentsto become middle-level productive, highly skilled, and independent manpowers to fill jobs in an effort to accelerate and strengthen the growth of technology and industry in national development.
