Training for pesantren on technical guide in dealing with assistance

In oder to have such similar viewpoint in dealing with assistance, Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) should importantly be trained on the importance of technical guide. In turn the state budget for pesantren can be allocated based on their needs and responsibility.
Chairman of the Brebes NU Branch Board H Athoillah made the remarks following the statement of Religious Affairs Minister Maftuh Basyuni over the weekend on the state's budget allocated to pesantren.<>
Athoillah said so far the managers of pesantren had yet to understand and have the same capability in dealing with the management of receiving assistance.
"There has been a tradition some kiai (pesantren leaders) always making proposal to ask for assistance. On the contrary, there have also been some never asking for the assistance," he told NU Online here Wednesday.
"There are many pesantren having not yet realized that to get assistance the pesantren should go thorough procedures in accordance with reinstated laws," he said, adding that responsibility of those receiving the state assistance was a must. (was)
