The Nahdlatul Ulama Regional Board (PWNU) East Java held the PWNU Jatim Award 2018. This prestigious award in the NU community becomes a measuring tool for the NU dedication for the benefit of the public at large.
This year is the third one since it was held in 2016.
According to M. Koderi, the chief executive of PWNU Jatim Award 2018, this year's award is not only for NU at the branch board, but more broadly reaching those at the village level.
"That (PWNU Jatim Award 2018) includes the involvement of NU autonomous bodies, NU institutions and the NU boards at the subdistrict and village level," M Koderi said.
After a long process, ranging from selecting the eligible nominees to visiting each participant, there will also be a presentation for nominees held at the PWNU headquarters on Sunday (8/7).
While the awards will be submitted at the PWNU halal bi halal event on Monday (9/7). (Masdar)
