Education in need of strong and consistent fighting spirit

Chairman of the Higher Education Committee of Nahdlatul Ulama ( LPTNU ) Prof Dr H Noor Ahmad said that developing colleges was strongly in need of a strong and consistent fighting spirit. All stakeholders must be ready to sacrifice their body and soul for the betterment of the educational institutions.<>
"(Those who are) managing educational institutions should not slacken their spirit in any (good and bad) situation," he said at a halal-bihalal meeting held by the Executive Board of Maarif NU education Azzahra, Muslimat NU Midwifery Academy Kudus recently, adding that making contributions through both knowledge and body to education was a must.
Speaking to administrators and academicians of Muslimat NU Midwifery Academy, Noor Ahmad called for the importance of taking into account healthy non-physical aspects such as having 'cold hands', tolerance, and affection.
" Educational institutions or colleges are very in touch with others so that its management needs good and conducive communication atmosphere," he said.
