Jember’s PCNU to Establish Nahdlatut Tujjar Cooperation

The Nahdlatul Ulama Branch Board (PCNU) of Jember will soon establish a cooperation, called as Nahdlatut Tujjar. It is purposefully expected to be central pillar and supplying agency of Nahdliyin’s needs that most of them are farmers.

In socializing it, several weeks ago, hosted in PCNU office, participants coming from Branch Representative Council Board (MWC) and NU institutions, participated enthusiastically in such a program by inviting experts of cooperation.

Present at the occasion Chairman of East Java’s Economic Institution of Nahdlatul Ulama (LPNU), Fathorrosi, Agus Priono, former Director of Cooperation of Jember University and representatives of Department of Cooperation & Small and Medium Enterprise of Jember.   

General Chairman of Jember’s PCNU Supreme Council, KH Mansur Sholih, in his speech suggested that the attempted cooperation will next be handled both seriously and professionally, so it can develop. 

“Trust me, God willing if all of this handled efficiently, the cooperation will be effective. So far there has been no such and adequate cooperation in supplying farmers’ needs. For instance, rare fertilizer as ever before, all become nervous. Whereas, if we have network, it will we find,” kiai Mansur said.

At the same time, Chairman of Jember’s LPNU, Zaenuri, asserted that within coming a year, he will socialize it to each MWC. For him, the socialization is important to give people comprehensive understanding about cooperation to member candidates.

“For the comprehensive understanding, they will be militant members,” Zauniri said.

In the socialization, it was approved that main savings of ordinary member amounted to Rp. 2.5 million and required savings amounted to 50 thousand per month. While extraordinary member’s main savings amounted to 100 thousand and required one amounted to 10 thousand per month. (ary)
