Riau Islands Governor proud of harmony among religious adherents

The Riau Islands governor Muhammad Sani said that he was proud of harmony among the religious adherents as it was proved by the absence of conflict and the success of the religious events some time ago.<>
"The implementation of the national Quran Recitation Contest (MTQ) in Batam city which was proved by the absence of conflict some time ago, did mark the success of the religious events," Sani said after inaugurating the Batak Huria Protestant Church (HKBP) here on Sunday.
The governor also expected all religious communities in the province to continue maintaining the harmony among the religious followers.
