Salahuddin Wahid to come to Tebuireng's alumni inauguration in Surabaya

The leader of Islamic Boarding “Pesantren” School of Tebuireng, KH Salahuddin Wahid will come to an inauguration of East Java’s regional board members of Pesantren Tebuireng alumni (IKAPETE) in Surabaya on Sunday (3/9).
A member of the IKAPETE, M Yusuf Hidayat said on Saturday that Salahuddin Wahid will come to Surabaya together with advisory council of the Pesantren Tebuireng, KH Yusuf Hasyim who will speak and also general chairman of the IKAPETE, Prof KH Ali Mustafa Ya’kub.
<>Yusuf who is also vice chairman of Surabaya Ansor Youth Movement cited that Salahuddin at the same time will speak about Islamic discourse and NU within the dialectic of moderation at a national seminar “Reconsidering Moderate Islam”.Scores of NU prominent men who will also speak at the forum chairman of the Central Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) Prof Dr KH Said Aqil Siradj discussing about Islam and liberalization of thought and KH Ma’ruf Amin talking more about Islam and fundamentalism of religion”.
Numbers of NU figures involved themselves in the board were namely MH Fawaid Abdullah, HM Wahyuddin Husein, Mas’ud Adnan and Drs H Musyafak Ro’uf. (ant/ind)
