Jakarta, NU Online
As in previous years, the Special Branch Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (PCINU) Turkey has a special program to enliven the holy month of Ramadhan this year. <>
In addition to performing multiple religious activities such as reciting the Qur'an, known as Tadarus, PCINU Turkey will also hold a religious gathering by reading the so-called Kitab Kuning (yellow books) before fast breaking (iftar).
A release sent to NU Online on Friday (4/7) mentioned the yellow books were, among others, Tanqihul Qaulil Hatsis, Nasho'ihul Ibad, Marah al-Labid, and Bidayatul Hidayah. The religious gathering started at 17.00 (local standard time), while reciting the Qur'an (tadarus) was carried out before the dawn at 01.00 (local standard time).
PCINU Turkey also said that people outside of Turkey could join and listen such religious activities through radio streaming. Internet users around the world can enjoy the live broadcast of the programs by clicking radio.pcinuturki.com during Ramadhan.
Chairman of PCINU Turkey Ulin Nuha hoped, this program would able to improve the quality of Nahdliyin (NU followers) who follow the NU agenda.
"We held the Ramadhan special program with the aim of enhancing brotherhood, faith and piety," he said.
