Ansor appreciates MK's decision on election dispute

The Constitutional Court (MK) on Thursday (27/6) decided on the dispute over the 2019 Presidential Election. The MK's decision not granting all claims of the petitioners provided legal certainty about who became the leaders in the next five years.
The chairman of Ansor Youth Movement Yaqut Cholil Qoumas greatly appreciated the Constitutional Court judges and a number of disputing parties so that they could guard the Court's decision peacefully.
"Nine Constitutional Court judges have set an example of the principle of the rule of law with a decision based on carefulness and thoroughness in seeing the legal facts," he told NU Online on Friday (6/28) in Jakarta.
Gus Yaqut called on all elements of society to return to work according to their profession and jointly develop the country.
"The decision of the Constitutional Court which is final and binding gives us the meaning to end political choice differences. Let's build the country together and congratulations on working for Mr Jokowi and Kiai Ma'ruf who will lead Indonesia in the next five years,'' he stressed. (Fathoni/Masdar)
