Officially inaugurated, these are three pledges of the PBNU 2022-2027

The Executive Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) as a result of the NU 34th Congress in Lampung for the 2022-2027 period was officially inaugurated. The inauguration coincided with the commemoration of the NU 96th Anniversary was attended by President Joko Widodo and Vice President KH Ma'ruf Amin at the Dome Sport and Convention Center Building, Balikpapan City, on Monday (31/1/2022).

The inauguration procession was led by supreme leader (Rais 'Aam) of PBNU KH Miftachul Akhyar (Kiai Miftach) by guiding the reading of the pledges. Before guiding the inauguration, Kiai Miftah reminded that the inauguration was a spiritual initiation.

Kiai Miftah expected the new PBNU management to be able to increase their enthusiasm and commitment in giving their best service at Nahdlatul Ulama.

"Producing administrators who have excellent commitment, attitude, and obedience. This inauguration is also at the same time recharging spiritual energy as a shared commitment," said Kiai Miftah.

The following are the complete pledges made by the entire PBNU management for the 2022-2027 period:

We as the Executive Board of Nahdlatul Ulama for the 2022-2027 period with full awareness and responsibility, hereby pledge:

First, (we) will practice and defend Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution in a pure and consistent manner, uphold the Islamic creed Ahlussunnah wal Jamaah and comply with the Articles of Association and Bylaws of Nahdlatul Ulama.

Second, (we) will carry out (our) duties and obligations as the Executive Board of Nahdlatul Ulama for the 2022-2027 period as good as possible for the benefit of Nahdlatul Ulama, the interests of Muslims and the interests of the Indonesian people in general.

Third, (we) will contribute (our) energy and thoughts in the context of efforts for the development of a complete human being for the realization of a just and prosperous society that is blessed by Allah SWT.

Laa Haula walaa Quwwata Illa billahil aliyyil adzim.

Meanwhile, on the occasion, the General Chairman of PBNU KH Yahya Cholil Staquf (Gus Yahya) called on the administrators to really work to achieve the goals of the Nahdlatul Ulama organization.

"Let's work for real. What is said must not stop only as words. Every word must become work. And every work must produce clear results," he hoped.
